Subscription Concert 1 –A Cinematic Potpourri opens your LA Winds 26-27 season with a dashing romp through Sherwood forest with composer Erich Korngold’s Suite from the 1938 classic “The Adventures of Robin Hood.” A post Halloween performance of “Night on Bald Mountain” from Disney’s “Fantasia” will also be featured along with Sousa’s “At the Movies” and our own Chuck Fernandez’s “Animatus Eventus” that includes some of the cartoon world’s most recognized themes. CalTech’s celebrated Wind Ensemble also be featured in our season-opening spectacular!
