Subscription Concert 6 – Come and share in the food, fun and music as our annual BBQ/Picnic returns to the Canoga Park Elks Lodge. Delicious mail course BBQ  will be featured along with all the traditional sides! An array of popular and patriotic classics featuring your LA Winds and the exciting Cover/Tribute Band “Brass Roots Initiative” wiil provide the entertainment. BBQ dinner is available to all Silver, Gold and Platinum subscribers. Craft beers, premium wines and soft drinks available. Music begins at 4:45 pm. Don’t miss this exciting outdoor event!

  • Timing:
    • 3:30PM Setup for participants (see below for setup details)
    • 4:30PM Guests arrive
    • 4:45 – 5:45PM Brass Roots Initiative performs
    • 4:45PM Food Served
    • 5:45PM LA Winds Musicians prepare for performance (Quite warmups) and 4 OPS COM members take over at Buffet long tables to help distribute “seconds”
    • 6:00 – 7:00PM LA Winds performs
    • 7:30PM Event ends.
  • Set UP details
    • Band stage set up crew arrives to set LA winds. After setting up stage, be availble to get food to servers from inside of Elks kitchen
    • Ice chests and Ice arrives.Silverware and warming trays arrive
    • Servers arrive with cold food (Each one of 4 salad servers also brings 20 lbs of ice): place in ice chests and indoor refrigerator
    • Hot food servers for chicken and ribs arrive to set up two 8 foot buffet tables which will hold  2 warming trays and room for 3 lb. containers of cole slaw and potato salad
    • Fill warming trays with water and load sterno cans (do not light until 4:00)
    • Cold food servers arrange napkins & silverware
    • Distribute tongs and scoopers to servers
