Subscription Concert 4“A Celebration of Independence and Sovereignty – Join us as we pay special tribute to the military heroes that have helped make America the greatest nation on earth. In addition, we’ll feature profoundly moving and powerful works that recognize the determination of indigenous peoples and religious minorities in their efforts to establish (and re-establish) their nationhood.

Along with patriotic favorites and music by Aaron Copland and Giuseppe Verdi, this very special event will feature:

  • Actress Carolyne Maraghi narrating Ron Nelson’s powerful “To the Airborne”
  • David Gillingham’s atmospheric tribute to the Seminole nation, “Council Oak”
  • Marie Knecht’s fascinating account of her father’s place in bringing Oskar Schindler’s list to light
  • Famed local violinist Ruth Bruegger performing the Main Title to Steven Spielberg’s classic film adaptation Thomas Keneally’s book.

Don’t miss the exciting conclusion to our “We’re Back Again – and Even Better!” season. Click here for tickets!
