CSUN Shared “Special Event” concert at CSUN with one of the University’s most acclaimed ensembles—the CSUN Wind Ensemble under the direction of Prof. Lawrence Stoffel. Each group will perform one half of this concert.
All attendees need a ticket to get into the event. Seating is General Admission. No reserved seats but you need a ticket to enter the facility. Once inside, sit anywhere in the auditorium.Tickets are provided to all LA Winds season subscribers (please submit the RSVP form below in order to recieve your ticket at the door) .
If you are a friend of the LA Winds but NOT a current subscriber, you may purchase your tickets through the CSUN Box office. Prices: Full Price $22.00; Faculty/Staff/Senior/Veterans $18.00; Non-CSUN Student $15.00
LA Winds Repertoire order:
- Rimsky-Korsakov, Procession of the Nobles
- Gandolfi, Vientos Y Tangos
- Prokofiev / de Meij, Suite from Romeo and Juliet
Performers:
- CSUN will provide large percussion instruments.
- Parking tickets must be purchased by all members driving to CSUN.
- Plaza del Sol Men’s & Women’s Backstage dressing rooms are reserved for LA Winds Members and their Instrument Casses.
- No instrument cases are permitted in the backstage area. (please use the dressing rooms)
- All LA Winds members will receive a ticket for the concert. Use this ticket to enter the house through the main entrance of the hall after performing. These tickets will be disbursed at the sound check. Large instruments can be left in the dressing rooms duing the second half of the concert.
- 5:00 – 6:30PM: LA Winds Sound Check on Stage
- 7:00 House opens
- 7:30PM Concert at CSUN – curtain opens
