Subscription Concert 2 – Join your LA Winds family for our beloved traditional Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 7 at 2:30 pm in the beautiful Plaza Del Sol Theater on the campus of Cal State Northridge. This year’s performance will be one of the most meaningful in our 43-year history, as we celebrate both a season of hope and a day of remembrance. Alongside festive Holiday favorites (including our traditional audience sing-alongs), we will honor those courageous service members who gave their lives in distant places to safeguard the freedoms we all cherish here at home. Actress Carolyne Maraghi will narrate the exciting and deeply moving musical setting of the classic “Where Never Lark or Eagle Flew”. And James Barnes’ powerful, haunting and visually striking “Lonely Beach-November 1944” will highlight this very special holiday event.
