Join us as we welcome the San Fernando Valley Youth Chorus to our stage and celebrate the holiday season with music by Leroy Andersen, Alfred Reed, Norman Dello Joio and our traditional audience sing-along of Hanukah, Christmas and Holiday classics. Stay for some post-concert Holiday cheer in the PAEC lobby. Plus, the return of our annual food drive.

Maestro James Domine of the San Fernando Valley Symphony joins us as he performs the world premiere of his Concerto for Guitar and Concert Band. All-star soloists from the LA Winds will also perform. And we’ll feature talented local HS students in “side by side” performances with your LA Winds. Come support the return of live music to our schools!


Subscription Concert 4 The City of Angels, Our Latin American Heritage (and Latin too!)

The LA Winds will share the concert stage with the the Valley’s own San Fernando Valley Master Chorale as we perform three choral/instrumental classics: “The Battle on the Ice” from Prokofiev’s “Alexander Nevsky”, Rachmaninoff’s “Vespers” and Tchaikovsky’s thrilling “1812 Overture”. Choral and instrumental selections by Kozhevnikov and Shostakovich will also be featured in this dazzling afternoon of musical delights.

Celebrate our first summer concert of 2022 at the outdoor picnic area of our neighborhood Disabled American Veterans complex on Corbin Avenue. Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Chicken, Tri-tip and all the “fixins” will kick off a summer-time concert featuring your LA Winds and our 584 Jazz Band. Included for Maestro’s Circle members, Music Lover Plus and Premium Music Lover package holders.

Our 7 event 2021-2022 season concludes with a stirring performance of Aaron Copland’s majestic “A Lincoln Portrait” with Voice-over actor (and LA Winds Alum) Bob Joles performing Lincoln’s moving text. Patriotic favorites plus a surprising Leonard Bernstein fugue will bring our “Comeback” season to an exciting close.
