Our season concludes with an afternoon concert by your LA Winds followed by an outdoor Barbecue of Santa Maria Tri-tip, Chicken and Shrimp Skewers on the grounds of the Winnetka Disabled American Veterans Hall. LA Winds Concert at 4:00 pm, Dinner at 5:00 with music by the Winds “584” Jazz Band.

Our Annual Chamber Music Concert with this year’s venue at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Repertoire will include Mozart’s dramatic C minor Wind Serenade; the “Einmal Woodwind Quintet” performing selections by Greta Funk, Paul Taffaneland, and Charles Lefebvre; a cello, clarinet and piano trio playing a composition by Max Bruch; selections by Song of the Angels Flute Orchestra; and more! Concert begins at 4:00 pm.

Subscription Concert 5 – Stars of the LA Winds and Wine Tasting

“Stars of the LA Winds” featuring LA Winds Principal players and soloists in an eclectic program of modern wind band classics. Soloists include Debbie MacMurray, Greg Anderson, Mark Marcus, Gabriel Velasco, and Caryn Rasmussen. Works by LA Winds composers and arrangers Charles Fernandez and Andrea Vancura will also be featured. This special concert opens with the LA Winds brass section performing Brian Balmage’s rousing Fanfare Canzonique. We close with Michael Daugherty’s highly entertaining tribute to Superman, “Red Cape Tango”
Join us after the concert for a No-host Wine Tasting reception at local favorite Boar Dough restaurant in Agoura as we celebrate your LA Winds’ Stars!
